Misfire Generator
Generate ignition- and injection-based misfire patterns according to SAE J2901
The new Misfire Generator allows customers to utilize cycle- and event-based misfire patterns according to SAE J2901. Thanks to its advanced automatic configuration and diagnostics, installation and commissioning of the system are carried out effortlessly. The modular hardware architecture allows for injection based misfire for both solenoid and piezo injectors as well as ignition based misfire for coil-on-plug and switch-on-coil systems. It is delivered with VEMAC’s calibration tool OCT for visualization, calibration, diagnostics and data recording. Furthermore, the integrated XCP interface allows access from widely used automotive calibration tools allowing customers to integrate the Misfire Generator into their preferred work environment. A side-by-side comparison of vehicle ECU together with Misfire Generator data makes development, precompliance tests, and homologation simple and secure.
Additionally, the system provides options for precise modulation of various sensor and actuator signals, such as analog, digital/ PWM, SENT and CAN-FD.
